Poem to my late beloved best friend

It hurts me so bad,
When i lose the ones i love,
Yet i move on,
With a little push and shove.

I just have to let you go,
Even through it is killing me inside,
My pain is ever so enduring,
And it doesn't want to subside.

The days come and go,
But the pain stays forever,
It never really leaves my soul,
When you know
You'll no longer be together.

Every now and then,
Soft as breath upon the skin,
I feel you will come back again,
And it's like you haven't been,
Gone a moment from my side.
Like the tears were never cried.

Here lies your grave,
Where words are hard to say,
So rest in peace my friend,
As i think of you,
Every moment of the day......
